Our Story: A Legacy of Passion and Development in Soccer
At the heart of STRIKERS Soccer Center is a deep-rooted love for the beautiful game. As a family-owned and operated professional soccer club in Scotland, we built a proud tradition of developing young players—many of whom rose to compete at the highest levels, including national teams.
In 1994, after attending the FIFA World Cup in the USA and the NCAA Final Four at Davidson College later that year, we were inspired by the enthusiasm and growing popularity of soccer in America. That spark led us to launch our first summer soccer camps in 1995 across North Carolina. Over the next five years, top-level players and coaches from around the world joined us, helping fuel a growing passion for the game among young players.
As soccer gained momentum, so did our vision. Inspired by global soccer development models that emphasized small-sided play, we built STRIKERS—a state-of-the-art soccer complex designed to give players of all ages more touches on the ball, better skill development, and more joy from the game.
In November 2000, STRIKERS officially opened its doors.

With expert coaching, quality surfaces, and a positive environment, STRIKERS has helped develop players now competing at the college level and beyond. We’re proud to have played a part in the growth of soccer in North Carolina—and we’re just getting started.

Our Recreational Program is designed to introduce and develop a love for the game of soccer in a fun, supportive, and stimulating environment. The primary goal is to help players of all skill levels grow their abilities while nurturing a healthy and positive attitude toward competition. -

Pre-Academy:
Pre-Academy is a developmental training program for soccer players ages 6–9 who are ready to take the next step beyond Recreational soccer. Serving as a bridge to our competitive club teams, Pre-Academy helps young athletes build the foundational skills needed for higher-level play.

Youth Academy:
Youth Academy Soccer is a developmental program for players ages 7–9, focused on building the technical skills and fundamentals essential for long-term success in competitive soccer. At this critical stage, mastering these core elements lays the foundation for progression into select-level play. Our travel and club teams compete under Charlotte Soccer Academy as the Huntersville branch and have consistently performed at the highest levels for many years.

Classic NCYSA/ECNL:
Our program is designed for dedicated players aged 8-18 who aspire to compete at the highest levels of youth soccer. Representing Charlotte Soccer Academy’s Huntersville branch, our travel and club teams have consistently performed at elite standards for many years. We are proud to announce that we have recently secured a spot in the Boys U13 & U14 ECNL program — the premier platform for youth soccer development in the country. This opportunity allows our players to train, compete, and grow within the most competitive environment available.

Adult League:
Our adult leagues are designed for players of all skill levels—whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player, there’s a place for you here! Games are played on Sunday nights at 5:00 PM or 6:00 PM, with a guaranteed 8 games each season. Come join the fun, stay active, and enjoy competitive soccer in a friendly environment!

Days: Monday through Friday & Sunday
Cost: $7 per hour per player
Format: 6v6 games
Game Times: Typically 7PM, 8PM & 9PM
